Sioux Falls, S.D. – The St. Cloud State women’s golf team tied for seventh place at the Augustana College Spring Invitational played at Prairie Green Golf Course in Sioux Falls on Saturday and Sunday.
The Huskies dropped five strokes from first day competition and carded a team score of 332-327-659 to tie for seventh place with Dakota Wesleyan. Augustana won the team title with a score of 302-298-660 and the Vikings Emily Kvidera was the medalist after shooting a 76-72-148.
St. Cloud State was led by sophomore Katlyn Kiehn (Litchfield) who finished 26th after rounds of 78-83-161. Senior Rachael Stoebe (Sartell) tied for 27th place with rounds of 85-77-162.
The Huskies will compete in the NSIC Women’s Spring Championship next Saturday and Sunday at the Dakota Ridge Golf Club in Morton, Minn.
