Brenda Burger, finalist for the position of Assistant Provost for Undergraduate Education .

Three finalists for the position of Assistant Provost for Undergraduate Education will visit St. Cloud State in April 9-16.

Nancy Mills, Mark Felsheim and Brenda Burger will interview and participate in open sessions with students, employees and community members.

The Assistant Provost for Undergraduate Education will provide oversight and leadership for student support services. In addition, the person will respond to student complaints, make referrals to other student services units and communicates with parents, legal guardians and family members.

The person will report to Miguel Martinez-Saenz, associate provost for undergraduate education and student support services. View the university's organizational chart.

The position is expected to be filled July 1.

The finalists are:

  • Nancy Mills is an assistant professor in the Academic Learning Center at St. Cloud State University. She holds a doctorate in curriculum and instruction from the University of South Florida in Tampa. View her curriculum vitae (PDF). View the schedule for her April 9 visit (PDF).

  • Mark Felsheim is a self-employed consultant. He previously was vice president of student affairs for Hennepin Technical College, Brooklyn Park, Minn. He earned a doctorate in educational leaderships at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
